I’m really digging the new style that The Chainsmokers have taken on. Recently rebranding themselves under a more thoughtful, laidback and electronic pop-leaning sound, is something that’s making their old fans revisit their music and more importantly setting their music apart from the mode of the current dance music scene. While not forgetting or ignoring their past of dance floor-rushers, their new style is a refreshing one that’s gotten them some heads turned, including ours. Drew and Alex’s latest remix is that of fellow New York group Say Lou Lou’s “Julian,” and is their best yet.
