After quite an impressive opening set at Marquee New York this past Saturday, Mysto & Pizzi have returned to Ultra Records to release "Galax." The members of this New York City-based duo have a variety of accomplishments under their belt: from building a career on producing behind the scenes for major pop acts like Kelly Rowland, to gaining an impressively sized club-based following for their line of insane remixes and mash ups. Though their tracks really run the gamut stylistically, their message is consistent as well as their upbeat energy. And as we saw on Saturday, such style and fervor is put forward in their performances, and that same energy and passion that comes through on their musical productions. "Galax" is a marriage of Mysto & Pizzi's knowledge of production and the club all in one place.
