If you're looking for a perfect way to start off a night this weekend and get everyone in the right mood then Kaytranada has supplied another quintessential remix of "Fire n' Rain". After recent remixes by Jill Scott, Amerie and Janet Jackson, the HW&W Recordings golden boy and Montreal native adds to his growing momentum with yet another head turning beat. Taking Acid Washed single which beautifully merges two of his favorite things; a soulful voice and a deep electronic backing. His remixes are always monstrous but this one seems especially restrained and focused as he merges trap and disco to create a tune that will keep you toe tapping and shimmying throughout the night. His recent killer mixtape for Bromance Records is further evidence of just how versatile he is with genres. The Montrealer is certainly upping his game before he starts touring in May with dates in Calgary and Vancouver, before moving into Europe for dates in Brussels, Milan and Warsaw.
