D-Why – "Flattery" [Video]

Virginia is the birthplace of a few stars in music today, and D-WHY is looking to be added to that list. He continues where he left off with this incredibly shot visual for  his most recently single "Flattery". The video could almost double as a short film or a Hollywood movie trailer.

In the song, the rapper speaks about a girl he has strong feelings for but at the same time is wary of her intentions. With the cinematic fights, shoot-outs, and beautiful half-naked ladies, D-WHY pretty much lived every boy's dream of playing a James Bond-like superhero. Money and love can impair our  judgement, which seems to be the underlining message of the song.

"Flattery" is available on D-WHY's most recent project, Don't Flatter Yourself, which is available for free download through his site. D-WHY has been keeping touring and he also co-directed Hoodie Allen's video for "Cake Boy" at the end of February. It seems he is trying to expand creatively which is always commendable. If you're in the Virginia area, he will be playing at Club V, so be sure to stop by. Until then, check out his video for "Flattery" below.
