Vince Staples has released a new track titled "Guns & Roses", produced by Mac Miller. The song speaks on very sensitive issues, including child abandonment, drug abuse, sexual abuse, and the availability of firearms in the home. Mac Miller's production fits the song well, inserting angelic hymns in the background with what sounds like a xylophone adding a nice touch. I instantly became a fan of this song on first listen – hard 808s and trap rap is fun, don't get me wrong, I am always down to get buck at a party or a show. But when an artist releases a song that deals with important problems in the world and especially surrounding us young people, you have to tip your hat off to them. Stream "Guns & Roses" below and keep your ears open for more Vince Staples.
