Today's delivery is brought to you by Kendrick Lamar and Pet Sownds. Kendrick Lamar is one of the few hip-hop artist that really rose to the top in the past year. His latest album Good Kid, M.A.A.d City is ridiculously popular, boosting his stardom to global scales. One of his singles, "Poetic Justice" featuring Drake, has been listened to by several million people already. The original song itself is already catchy as it is with its swimming flow and quick-witted spitting. Pet Sownds re-juiced the hip-hop fueled song with a slightly different charge. They swapped the percussive aspect of "Poetic Justice" with a laid back feel resonating characteristics of reggae. You can hear distinct reggae upstrokes which vibes for that subtle mellowed-out mood. Both versions of the tune are down-to-earth, just chilled differently.
