With a ton of minds going to work on a single you can end up with one of two things; a nearly incomprehensible song that looses its focus, or an instant club banger. The latter is the case with Orkestrated's remix of Tommie Sunshine & Disco Fries "Cool Without You "(feat. Kid Sister). In Orkestrated's rendition they play off of Kid Sister's strong vocal performance to create epic builds that result in addicting bass breakdowns followed by a funky horn sample in place of the original synth blurt.
The Australian duo's remix is my favorite off of the Vicious' remix package of "Cool Without You", which features various great renditions of the song. What creates such an accessible club song is Kid Sister's catchy vocals that can be laid over top of endless beats.
