It's been one helluva year for rising Australian electronic producer Flume (Harley Streten). He has released numerous remixes and powerful singles, such as "Sleepless" featuring Jezzabell Doran and his remix of Ta-ku's "Higher", which all started the snowball effect to quick stardom. With the release of his self-titled debut album Flume, included in our 2012 top 50 albums, he has won over tens of thousands of fans. The album topped Australian iTunes album charts for several weeks as well as earning the opportunity of airing through some major media such as BBC Radio 1. Recently, he collaborated with fellow Aussie Nick Murphy, a.k.a. Chet Faker, in yet another single called "Left Alone" via Transgressive Records. Combining Flume's big electronic sounds and Faker's majestic vocals, they create a meaningful, moving piece filled with soul coming from deep within. Watch below and feel the burn coming from the Australian duo.
