Copenhagen’s MØ once again demonstrates that the hype surrounding her smart Scandinavian pop is entirely justified. Arriving hot on the heels of last year’s two incipient tracks, “Glass” is another sleek and catchy slice of electronic pop that should cement the Danish newcomer on everyone’s "Class of 2013" lists.
On first listen, the introduction to “Glass” may sound like it’s about to break into a Christmas song, but with a little patience the listener is rewarded with a blissful high as MØ’s euphoric chorus fizzes above cascading synths and dubstep inspired rhythms.
“Glass” is currently only available to buy in Denmark but keep an eye out for MØ’s infectious “Pilgrim”, which drops on 7” via Neon Gold next month.
