While New Orleans-based duo Generationals have come a long way since their initial 2009 release Con Law, they have stuck to one thing: creating appealing music. They have adopted different styles along the way, but their animated melodies are always present. Since this is generally the case it is to no surprise that their recent release, “Spinoza”, takes on the same formula. What differentiates this song from recent releases is its catchy guitar heavy track, which sounds like something off of their early material. The song infuses of surf-pop with their indie roots offering the listener a great hum-along.
