"Dom Perignon at the Days Inn" is a great illustration of eXquire's progress as an artist, while also showcasing the juxtaposition that makes him so great. I mean, even the record's title contrasts glitz and gutter, and the lyrics are no different, with eXquire rapping about how he thinks Azealia Banks is "kinda hot," the hypocrisy of democracy, and Socrates playing everyone's favorite Hasbro board game.
