Quite the collaboration here from American artists Starkillers and BL3ND, who have teamed up to bring us the bangalanger “Xception”. I’m always a fan of something with a little extra grit, which this intense track serves up in spades. BL3ND’s touches appear in an overall industrial noise – damn his mask still scares me – added on top of a quick 132 BPM. It wouldn’t have Starkillers’ name on it, though, without some serious melody and a playful attitude. Additionally, there’s a killer sound, kind of bubbly but cut short to fit in with the overall direction of the song, that makes for a great bit of contrast.
