When the last of the bombs stop falling, what'll you do with the world that you're left with? Ask the inner visions of Björn Flóki, the latest director featured in Sigur Ros's wild and varied Mystery Film Experiment. With Valtari's third track "Varúð" as both inspiration and soundtrack, Flóki dives into the battered earth through the eyes of a child entertaining herself in the apocalypse's wake.
The 15th video in the Icelandic band's Mystery Film Experiment, "Varúð" plays as one of the lovelier and eerier cuts from Sigur Rós's latest audiovisual endeavor. This is sad, beautiful stuff that pushes past the label of "music video" into something more like "short film with incredible soundtrack." Enjoy it below.
