Cult-status electronic rockers Fenech Soler are premiering their video for their unreleased "All I know" today on Earmilk — Their first new original material in 2 years.
As the band finishes up their second album, slated for a Spring 2013 release, “All I Know” is being released from their recording sessions to give fans a taste of what’s in store.
The track is undoubtedly a banger and the video directed by Elliot Sanders is insane. It has the same anthemic quality that Demons had from their first album with big massive buildups carried by singer Ben Duffy's voice crashing into pulsating four-to-the-floor drops. One of my favourite things about Fenech is the way they combine ravey, electronic elements with a full live rock-n-roll sound. In the tradition of those other legendary british electronic rockers – Soulwax – Fenech has built a reputation of mind-bending live shows and "All I know" is going to be a big one played out.
The track was produced alongside Tim Goldsworthy (The Maccabees, LCD Soundsystem and UNKLE) and Swedish house producer/DJ Style of Eye.
Ever since their co-written track with Groove Armada "Paper Romance" I've been itching to hear more new stuff by them and am relieved to hear a new album is on the horizon. More information on Fenech-Soler’s second LP will be coming shortly so check back here for that. And you can grab ‘All I Know’ on Warner Bros. Records on October 22nd.
