Outkast is arguably one of the best and most influential groups of all time and are easily credited with giving the South an intelligent voice in the rap realm. Their influence stretches the entire globe and will be hard to truly ever match. So, with that said; it's always an amazing moment when you are presented with a new re-interpretation of Outkast's tracks from their pre-The Love Below/Speakerboxxx era. Today, Woody Produce, who recently released his amazing remixed Notorious BIG album, has come through with a remix of Outkast's classic "ATLiens" track which has one of the most infectious and memorable hooks of all time. This reworked version strips some of the southern instrumental influence and replaces it with a more modern and lighther sound with a splash of sunshine. Woody expects to release a full Outkast remix album but no date has been set in stone, so hopefully this holds you over. Enjoy.
