Today's delivery is brought to you by Nosaj Thing. The Los Angeles-based producer last saw a full-length release in 2009 with the beautiful Drift, and with a second LP in the works, he's out to prove that he still has the ethereal and textural down to a science. The first single off his forthcoming LP, Home, which will be released in 2013, is "Eclipse/Blue", a simple track released October 2 that manages to employ layer upon layer of moody emotion. The washed-out, spooky vocals over Jason Chung's production come from Kazu Makino of Blonde Redhead fame. Overall, this track brings a more organic, less glitchy feel for Nosaj Thing, with a track that, despite clear electronic roots, feels almost analog.
