Outside of her stint as a successful DJ, musical offerings from Solange occur so infrequently we often find ourselves clamoring over anything new she produces. Set for digital release on October 2, Solange gives us a hint at her newest 12" single, "Losing You" off Terrible Records. Working closely with her on her upcoming album is Devonté Hynes, the multi-instrumentalist songwriter better known as Blood Orange, who also produced and co-wrote the track. Grizzly Bear's Chris Taylor (and co-founder of Terrible Records) mixed "Losing You" while of Montreal's Kevin Barnes is featured on the single's B-side, entitled, "Sleep in the Park." Stylishly shot with vibrant colors, the "Losing You" video brings out the enjoyable traces of Afro pop and 70's dance hits we hear on the track, providing a great preview for what's to come.
