Last week, the Cali-based rapper/comic Wax waxed poetic on dating for money — or more specifically, dating a gold digger who will undoubtedly drop you for someone with bigger stacks. As part of his Unplugged series, presented by DJBooth/EARMILK, Big Wax is back at the mic this week wielding not his guitar but whole lot of anthemic energy. Backed by a live band, "Get It In" is the closest thing we have to Wax ringing our doorbell, asking if we're down jump in his 15-seat ride and kick back a cold beer (to which the answer would be "Hell yes").
It might be Monday but we'll need to save this one for Friday as well since this upbeat banger seems to be a weekend anthem in the making. Keep it locked for further Unplugged selections from the mariachi-loving emcee, dropping every Monday at 10:00 AM PST.
