An international combo pack arrived today with Germany’s Eddie Thoneick teaming up with France’s Norman Doray to give us the track “Celsius.” The seasoned producers' resumes sport both massive festivals (such as Ultra and Creamfields) and prestigious clubs (like Pacha and Cocoon). Released on Steve Angello’s Size Records, "Celsius" definitely owns up to the label it came from with serious big room noise. Light elements at the beginning – yes, there is a tambourine! – lead into stadium-worthy climbs and stellar mids that remind me of a muted “Future Folk.” Noramn Doray will be coming to New York on August 12 with many shows throughout Europe this summer, while Eddie Thoneick’s Facebook says he will be playing select shows in Spain and Italy.
