The weekend has come and gone, and now you're deep into your weekly grind. Never fear, Wobble Wednesday is back with more of your favorite face-melting bass drops to help you make the most of your mundane lifestyle. Today I'll be guiding you along through the many variations of bass music that we see these days, new and old. I wanted to turn the Wobble Wednesday feature into more than just a section for today's dubstep, so I decided it was only right to incorporate some drum & bass as well as an oldies section into the weekly feature.

You'll be hearing amazing bass-driven tunes from the softer, chiller side of dubstep to the filthy, grimier side that everybody loves to rage to. I'll also dip into the world of drum & bass as well as add some classic tunes from the 'golden age' of dubstep. All I ask from you guys is to enjoy and download. Once the weekend hits, steal the iPod at the party and throw on these songs. Guarantee it will make the place jump!

BASS

Richard Wilkins aka Konec released a track recently that he had been holding onto for a while now. It's called "Fatal Touch" and features the vocals from Fifi Smart. It's gritty and dirty, but I chose to throw it in the Bass section for the reason that is still keeps a steady harmony, rather than pure [brostep] mayhem. A new Xilent track will almost always grab my attention. This remix to Hadouken's "Bad Signal" keeps the gritty and fast feel, but with Xilent's signature bassy twist.

FILTH

Earlier this week, I suppose technically it is was last week, KDrew dropped his version of "Rise & Fall" and its a straight filthy banger! Click here to watch the making of KDrew's crazy remix to Adventure Club and Krewella. This video goes behind the scenes at the studio and shows how every song he makes basically takes over his entire life. Another track I've been listening to for a while is Big Chocolate's remix to "Sunburn," the beat is very trap heavy and also adds a killer drop.

DRUM & BASS

This week shows the extremes that can exist in drum & bass these days. Lately it was only common to hear fast, extremely bass heavy DnB. The dirty bass lines coincided well with the fast BPM, but this week I've included a couple chiller, soothing drum & bass tunes with Kubix's "Show Your Smile" and "Reclusive" by Haich. If you prefer the former, don't worry I added some solid drumstep tunes as well.

CHILL

Once again, Sound Remedy drops another amazing melodic electro track. This time he decided to remix the popular song "Silk" by Giselle. Every time I hear a new Sound Remedy song I'm always amazed by the production skills and intricate work on every sound that he creates. It's one of those things you learn to appreciate after listening to hours of shitty sounds some amateur producers push out. None of that here though, I can guarantee you that.

MIX OF THE WEEK

En lue of the ongoing festivals happening this summer, I've decided to take a pause from the Oldies section for a bit and include a new mix set every week ranging from huge live productions to lesser known radio mixes from all of your favorite artists. This week I wanted to bring a mix Roksonix put together for Radio One's Daily Dose of Dubstep including all of our favorite artists from Circus Records, including Cookie Monsta, Doctor P and a slew of others. Disregard the fact that it says that it's from Doctor P, this is a Roksonix mix.
