The summer trap takeover is among us whether you like it or not, it's eating through our brains like zombies on bath salts. With new artists like Flosstradamus, RL Grime, and Baauer at the forefront creating an electronic twist to this primarily dirty south based subgenre in hip-hop, many dubstep producers are quickly getting on their 808 game and pushing out heavy bass driven hip hop beats.
One notable young producer is CRNKN. CRNKN has recently been gaining momentum through his remixes of Purity Ring, Doctor P, and Ace Hood, which shift between dubstep and trap, and sometimes a mixture of both. Yesterday, marked the release of his most recent remix of Die Antwoord's "I Fink U Freeky" which will be without a doubt one of the best trap remixes of the summer.
