It's not every day that you have the chance to DJ at a major music festival alongside the likes of Avicii, Afrojack, Dada Life, Thomas Gold, Eric Prydz, Excision, Zeds Dead, Alesso, Chuckie, and the list goes on. Well, Earmilk.com is giving YOU that opportunity. In just a few days we will be officially announcing the Earmilk Opening Set At Escapade DJ Contest, where we will provide you with all the information on how to enter. The winner gets to throw down at one of the biggest music festivals in Canada – Escapade Music Festival in Ottawa, Ontario – AND have their very own artist feature post on Earmilk.com. Check the site this week for contest details. OH and we're giving away 2 VIP weekend passes to this, enter here!
Also important for upcoming DJs & producers, this weekly mix is here for you, so send me your tracks! You'll find this one taking you on a journey from bouncy house jams to melodic progressive anthems to electro bangers. If you think your track could fit somewhere along the way, send it over to midknight@earmilk.com.

ELECTRO HOUSE
Our friends at Torro Torro have been busy lately finishing up an EP, and this past week they released their remix for Wax Motif feat Neoteric's "Go Deep", my favourite track of this weeks selection. Perfect vocal treatment building into the heaviest drop you'll hear today, the duo from Toronto have created something special with this one. A departure from their recent moombahton work, they show off their versatility as producers with this electro house anthem.
Another Canadian producer featured here today is Giddy, who's tech-lectro banger "Collapse" is exactly what I've been craving these days. Check Earmilk in the coming weeks as I'll be doing a full post featuring some unreleased tunes from Giddy, as we get ready for his headlining performance at Maison for Earmilk Toronto's launch party July 27th, along with Dzeko & Torres, and myself, Midknight.
TECH HOUSE +
Koen Groeneveld, Nic Fanciulli, Prok & Fitch, Hector Couto – Oh what the hell, I could list every one of these as setlist standards for me. One of my favourite collections of tech house gems that I've featured here on The Club with a few deep grooves thrown in for your listening pleasure. Anything from Gui Boratto is pure gold.
PROGRESSIVE HOUSE
It's been a few weeks since my last post, and in that time we've seen Zedd release something a bit different than his usual bangers, as "Spectrum" takes us on a musical journey, reminding me of Porter Robinson (which is always a good thing). Hardwell drops a remix for The Wanted, and Thomas Gold puts out the long awaited compilation album featuring some new tracks such as "The Beginning", a perfect set-opener. That young phenom Jakob Liedholm takes the latest ID from Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash and throws some familiar vocals on it, while Maison & Dragen throw down heavy in "Wet Dreams".
The album that got more hype, and deservedly so, than any other in recent memory, is out and already loved the world over. Receiving high praise from seemingly every DJ and producer, Eric Prydz "Pryda" is one of those records that will forever be remembered. It comes on the verge of his North American tour, something relatively rare for the Swede who has admitted to being afraid of flying. His stops along with the Identity Festival tour as well as some solo shows will expose the legendary European to his countless North American fans who for the most part, have never seen him live. Enjoy one of my favourites off the album, "Agag".
TJR has been a constant here on The Club but I've never really known what section to put him in. With today's Bob Marley remix, I think he deserves to be on his own. One Love.
If you love the music like I do, make sure you support the artists and purchase the music at a music outlet such as Beatport or similar!
