If you're within a 10-mile radius of Chicago on June 16th-17th and your walls are shaking, simply step outside and look to the city. EARMILK is proud to work in tangent with Reach Presents to giveaway two sets of two-day passes to one of the most unique festivals in Chicago this summer: Spring Awakening Music Festival. Soldier Field will be epicenter of the bass-induced musical earthquake felt throughout the city. Not only is this event the first all-dance music festival to make it's way to Chicago, but it's the first in the city's history to take place inside and outside of the Chicago Bears' home stadium.

Headliners include (but are not limited to) Skrillex, Afrojack, Benny Benassi, Moby, Flux Pavilion, Carl Cox, Laidback Luke, Wolfgang Gartner, Diplo, & A-Trak. If you can't make it to the festival because you work during the day, don't worry about it. The afterparty shows are set to take place at venues across the city from The Mid to the House of Blues. Check out the afterparty line-up here.

Music Blogger/ Indie Music Consultant/ PR Representative/ Musician/ Artist/ Entreprenuer/ Comedian/ Music World: Contact Me. Upon this day, I declare that Indie music is leaps and bounds more pure than anything else, and the Term "Indie" means not that a band isn't mainstream, but that a band has been able to hold on to its roots, even through fame and fortune. While the wonderful thumps and womps of electronic music gets me grooving, it will always be the Alternative Indie Rock that guides me to the homeland. And for that -- I both thank it and applaud it -- for it has brought me great pleasure in the past and will so in the future.
