Amid the response to the premiere of the short film "Cruel Summer" at the Cannes Film Festival last week, news of the growing star-studded lineup for the Made In America Music Festival and more recently word from producer/engineer Mike Dean confirming that a sequel to Watch The Throne is in the works, keepers of the throne Jay-Z and Kanye West have unveiled the visuals from the latest single off the critically acclaimed collaborative LP.
Following “Otis” and “Ni**as in Paris,” the video for the 88-Keys produced single "No Church In the Wild" is the third set of visuals off of duo's Grammy-winning album Watch the Throne. Directed by Romain Gavras, the acclaimed director behind M.I.A.'s “Bad Girls” and “Born Free” videos, the highly anticipated video was previously previewed during the European leg of the Watch The Throne World Tour.
Shot last month in the streets of the architecturally rich city of Prague, the post-apocalyptic-themed big-budget video doesn't include an appearance from the superstar duo or any of the featured artists. However, that's not to say the hyper violent five-minute video doesn't offer viewers quite a captivating viewing experiencing.
