This Vietnamese Frenchman beat-maker has finally stepped back into the spotlight with his latest track "L.O.V.E." Those of you who have never heard of Onra are in for a treat. Onra is a well-cultured electronic music producer who incorporates worldly influences into his tunes. If you were wondering how cultured he is, here's a truncated history of his background. He was born in Germany, lived in France and Ivory Coast, and has family in Vietnam. You can probably guess the scope of his influences.
Onra began making music at the age of 19, so needless to say he is no chump in the music world. Respected for his groovilicious and borderline experimental style, Onra made his way to fame several years ago, especially during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. One of his most well-known tunes is "The Anthem," which was featured in a Coca Cola commercials during the Beijing Olympics. However, like any good producer, Onra's style has been changing over the years and now he is showing us where he is headed with "L.O.V.E.," off of his upcoming album Deep Into The Night.
And this time, things seem a little bit funky. In a good way.
