Not only a great line to start the Memphis, Tennessee rapper's latest project but also a line to sum up Skewby as an artist. The rapper, who is in his early 20s, is definitely a part of the new face of hip-hop along with similarly aged artists such as Logic and Kendrick Lamar who are bringing back the essence of the genre that many claim is gone.
Humble Pie is a 6-track project free of boastful and egotistical lyrics and obnoxious instrumentals. There are no vocal feature spots, but the EP is host to some interesting producers including Apollo Brown, Wizz Kid, N/A, Charlie White & Skewby himself.
