I promised myself that I wouldn't be posting anything else that is even mildly related to Carly Rae Jepsen's pop-tastic "Call Me Maybe," however Coyote Kisses' new track made a liar out of me. Having been tapped by Jepsen herself to create a remix to the insanely infectious original track, Bryce and Joe set out to do a pop mix that bangs but stays true to the sweet bubblegum vibe of the original. Mission accomplished? Definitely. Even by substituting that damn violin with happy electro synths still resulted in a captivating sound that is pleasing to the ears. Now while I prefer Coyote's harder/heavier material (ie "Binary Suns" Remix – included below), I can easily see this remix being a guilty pleasure for the summer and I shamelessly admit that. No worries though, I've got it from a good source that there will be a Summer EP released that is full of original bangers…possibly including one with The FatRat.
