I hate to sound hyperbolic here, but everything about The M Machine is epic.

I'm not going to spend a ton of time re-phrasing what's been written about them, so I'll give you a bulleted list of a few reasons why it's time to start getting excited:

  • They're signed to Skrillex's relatively new OWSLA Records.
  • They live in a warehouse in the Bar Area, the previous tenants of which included Jerry Garcia.
  • They've built an enormous iPad controlled, light wall in the shape of an "M."
  • Their music is insane.

Having already "paid their dues" with groups like Pants Party, the members of The M Machine now seems to be hatching some sort of genius strategy to conquer the music world. It's worth taking a look at both Rolling Stones' and Wired's pieces on the group. But, above all, prepare your hearts and minds for the coming M Machine storm.

The M Machine's debut EP Metropolis, Pt 1 is available below for streaming.
