You know your shit is awesome when it's picked up by a label the day after you upload it to Soundcloud. That's what happened for Space, Ladies, whose Medusa EP was pretty much immediately snapped up by Senseless Records. The Medusa EP, out April 30 (SENSELESSDD009), features two original tracks from the Warsaw producer(s?) and four remixes, coming from four awesome names: iO, Kiev, Sentel, and Sarantis. The EP fuses influences from house, electro, and bass with perfectly portioned choppy vocal samples, creating dance music that'll be hard not to like for fans across the board. I'm sure this stuff will be turning up in mixes left and right soon enough.
We're lucky enough to have a free download of the old school house iO remix of "Medusa" for your listening pleasure. Remixer iO is a known darling of Mary Anne Hobbs, having done a mix for her prestigious XFM radio show. It was difficult to choose a remix to offer up, since they're all fantastic in their own right, but snatch this one up below and make the rest yours when the EP comes out!
