Zebra and Snake – "Money In Heaven" (Helsinki 78-82 Remix)

Zebra and Snake’s new single “Money In Heaven” arrives so fully formed that it’s hard to believe it’s their debut release. Since meeting in Helsinki in 2007, the Finnish duo have been crafting their own brand of heart racing, emotionally charged electro-pop and now, following a string of free downloads and blog buzz, are finally gearing up for the release of their eagerly anticipated first album.

“Money In Heaven” is a striking preview of the album and already sounds like a stadium-filler. The wonderfully glossy synth hooks add color to the Finnish duo’s bleak lyrics, mixing tragedy and ecstasy into a uniquely humane brand of pop music. The single is out on May 7th but to keep you tide over we’ve got an exclusive, dancefloor ready Helsinki 78-82 rework of both the “Money In Heaven” audio and video for you to enjoy below.
