Becoming Real is the alter ego of producer and artist Toby Ridler. A man shrouded in mystery, he is an elusive entity who takes influences from grime, techno and garage and then moulds them into his very own brand of London bass music. He has a mini-album on the way titled "Solar Dreams / Neon Decay." "Snow Drift Love" preludes the album and is being dropped as a free download which you can cop from below.
D/R/U/G/S, another young British producer to watch out for, has now stepped in to drop his remix of the track. The spin retains the post garage sounding bass line but ups the tempo and puts a starker and slighter heavier almost house twist on the original . Check the stream below.
