I remember first listening to California emcee/vocalist Pheo after coming across his Word to Your Blogger mixtape what now seems like forever ago back in 2009. Flash forward three years and the California emcee is still active, recently teaming up with Soulection Radio and UTB Life$tyle to release his latest project They Soulection over the weeked. The nine-track EP highlights Pheo's strengths such as his laidback and almost hypnotic delivery and his penchant for penning some smooth verses. Producers AFTA-1, Christoph El Truento, Mo Ellah and several others provide some soulful and chill production on the EP.
