Following her 2006 release Born & Raised, German singer-songwriter Joy Denalane maintained a relatively low profile. The songstress ended her near five-year hiatus with her third release Maureen last spring. Unfortunately for her English-speaking fans, Maureen was originally released in German, Joy's first language. However, Joy has not forsaken her English-speaking following. The English version is slated for an official release next month. With the release date looming near, Joy released a duet from her upcoming album featuring Bilal, who she worked with on a collaborative project with The Dresden Soul Symphony several years ago. The song is remixed by versatile Seattle producer Jake One.
