Today's delivery is brought to you by Niia. This rising singer/songer writer has made quite a few waves with her various collaborations, in a fairly short time. She has worked with Akon, Lil Wayne, & Wyclef Jean. And that was all just one one track("Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill)"). Now, I've stumbled across a recent cover she has done for the track "Mad World". Obviously the most recognizable cover of this track was done by Gary Jules but this new one, by Niia, has less of a "slit-wrist" factor than Gary's. She has taken the song and almost given it bit of a "whimsical" feel with the addition of the lighter instrumentals, such as the harp. It's still sad but in a softer way.
