Just moments before the drop of Mac Miller's latest mixtape, Macadellic, the Pittsburg native has released the video for the featured track, "Loud." The video is an obvious departure from Miller's earlier work- even his persona seems to have changed. The kid from Blue Side Park seems to be long gone, having grown into a more than competent lyricist with an ear for catchy beats, while maintaining his affinity for snap-back hats. His life now one of constant travel, from photoshoots to performances, to VIP lounges.
This Mac Miller is someone who's wholly comfortable with his fame and success, rather than shying away from it for the sake of maintianing a boyish persona. How will his fans feel about this transformation? That remains to be seen.
