You may not yet know Modek but I'm pretty sure you've all heard of Oh My God It's Techno Music. The German online community was founded in 2008 and quickly achieved great success due to their regularly published Supermixes, featuring artists like The Subs, Tai, and Fukkk Offf. And if not the mixes, you definitelt must know them from their renowned hand-printed "Oh My God It's Techno Music" t-shirts.
Today we are proud to premiere their new Supermix done by Modek.
I must confess that I didn't know him before yesterday, he is kind of new to the scene but he already won the Belgian National Producers Contest in the category Electro/Fidget back in 2009 and just come back from a tour with the Mustard Pimp boys so watch out for this kid, he has talent.
A lot of great music on this mix including old tracks like The Subs' "Substraktion" and new bangers like Polymath's remix of "Don't Look back". It's a little bit too soft for my taste but all of the tracks fit very well together, the transitions are nice and the mix has a good coherence. If not at 2 am, this set would be great as an opener or chilling at an after party at 8 am by the beach.
