For the house-heads, Maceo Plex probably doesn't require an introduction. His funky, frantic-but-steamy sound embodies a good dance floor — perhaps a bit scatterbrained, but filled to the brim with sensual energy. His latest pair of tracks, "Frisky" and "Sex Appeal," might just be the best way to welcome spring — as layers upon layers of puffy clothing come off, even the smallest display of skin can get the streets feeling frisky, and these renewed energies will surely translate to clubs all around. Get groovy. The single is out on Crosstown Rebels on March 19.

Maceo Plex also appeared on the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in February. If you missed it, it's compulsory listening. Musical homework.
