You know it's going to be a good week when Cut Records drops a new EP. Specializing in FREE (that's right, legally free) bass and dance music, Cut has been releasing tapes, EPs, and other releases from up-and-coming artists like Σ-Fly and Essáy since April of last year.
Koloah (aka Dmitriy Avksentiev of Kiev) is the newest addition to the Cut family, having just released his Love EP on the net label this past Monday. His brand of IDM and garage calls to mind the very first Cut release from last April, filled with atypical percussion, fluttering, synth-like vocals, and lots of sub-bass. Koloah also directs music videos, I've included something he shot for the song "96 Hours" by Them Bones last year. Enjoy it all.
