Another day, another tender label sprouting out of the pleasant poison watering cans of basement dance floors. It's hard to say where fate leads for Amadeus Records, still in its youth the deep house startup is cloaked in an arcane Greco Roman drobe. But beyond the leer and mystery lies four on the floor honesty, and Chicago bred Savile admits this authenticity in the imprint's debute release titled Being. Expect nothing more than the pouring of guilt and remorse into a brew of finely tuned drum kits and droney synths. Evidence of lush sounds being held back by gloomy filters, constrained to make room for a purge of bedside catharsis and confessions. Made not for the wide-eyed virgin, but for the wary foolish canny enough to see through deceit and go all in, emotions regardless. EP hits the shelves February 22nd, keep an ear out for this budding record label and pick up their limited run of clean tees to usher in a sovereign beginning.
