With a heartfelt, authentic sound, Somali rapper-singer-guitar player K'NAAN has always been one to make us think for more than a second. Though we haven't heard much from the artist since his addictive "Waving Flag" 2010 FIFA World Cup anthem, he's back today with a single from his exciting new EP More Beautiful Than Silence.

The track, "Nothing to Lose", has the same heart-pounding qualities as much of his other work and is likeable from first beat. With Nas on deck, he really has nothing to lose. K'Naan's EP comes out in less than a week on January 24th off the A&M/Octone label. As far as we're concerned, the EP will be a solid warmup for his full-length album.
