Chill…
Today's delivery is brought to you by DELS featuring Elan Tamara. DELS dropped his GOB album, back in 2011, and it was being seriously considered as one of the best albums of the year which is saying a lot considering this artist is still fairly new. He seemed to pop on peoples radars back in 2008 but really didn't come into his own until this most recent release. Mostly due to its sheer honesty and introspection that is immediately evident from the first few tracks. DELS doesn't hold back what he's feeling so some of the tracks end up being quite sad but it only adds to the overall character album. The track I'm bringing to you today is called "DLR" which features the beautiful vocals of Elan Tamara. Overall, the track has a very simplistic experimental sound that features a simple drum beat but this is definitely one of those tracks that is much more than the sum of its parts. You have DELS speaking of heartbreak as you listen to somewhat off-key melodies being pumped through your speakers. It all somehow works perfectly and delivers more than you could expect while all staying chill and somber. Check out the track and chill….
