The Weeknd (The Noise) – "Cure" & "Superhero"

Looks like we got some unreleased material by the Toronto crooner The Weeknd back when he worked with the production group called The Noise. The track "Superhero" (is a alternative version of "Rescue You"). Hopefully this can hold you over until the release of The Weeknd's latest project, Echoes Of Silence which could drop anytime in the coming weeks. Rumor is it will be released all at once, no more single releases. It pretty amazing how much the T.O artist has progress over time. Shouts to KTT. Check It Out And Enjoy. Follow me @Ebonicss

  • The song was not called Rescue Me it's called Rescue You.

  • Wow- very disappointing…  The Weeknd was so dark and sexy with previous songs like "Lonely Star" and "Initiation"  and also experimented with new, different sounds. (see: the rock sound in Life of the Party, and the haunting echo-ey effect when a girl speaks on Lonely Star, her voice in a high octave combined with a megaphone effect that inspires thoughts of a faraway exotic land.)

–I'm all for an artist growing and trying new things, but now The Weeknd just sounds pretty much like any blah R&B crooner out there.  Unexciting.  Their other endeavors, while maybe a little too self-conscious at least had passion…

    • This was recorded years ago before the Weeknd was the Weeknd…way before "Lonely Star" and "Initiation." "Cure" and "Superhero" are obviously not representative of his current style
