Since Local Natives have not been producing new goodies, let's replace that cohesive indie pop void with Troumaca. Troumaca is a quintet of Sam Baylis, Geoffrey Foulkes, Tom Gregory, Matthew Campbell, and Jim Nayak. Their British origin creates a dreamy lilt in the 3 tracks on their upcoming EP, The Gems.
On December 12th, The Gems will be free for download including songs, "Fire", "Sanctify" and "Layou (Dub)". This five piece band is tropically inspired by St. Vincent and The Grenadines. Give "Sanctify" a listen to understand it yourself.
