This is your Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve. We will try to bring you one "chill" track every day. This is for when you get home and you are trying to unwind. You reach for that glass of wine or that unlit Black & Mild or maybe you reach for something more herbal. This track is for those times. We are just your milkmen and I'm here to make a delivery. Chill…

Today's delivery is brought to you by SHINE. This french band got their start in 2003 when a group of musicians, with varying musical interests and styles, decided to come together and create genre fusion. Now, they didn't release their first offical LP until 2008 which was called The Common Station. This is where today's track comes from. The name of the track is "Comme Si L'amour" which roughly translates to "As if love.." which is a excerpt from the song that further elaborates as, "Its as if love has made the jump of an angel". You'll immediately recognize how beautiful the track is for this lazy Saturday. It's a mix of pop, trip-hop & light jazz that creates this atmosphere of love that is somewhat bittersweet. C'est la vie. Also, I should just mention that SHINE is preparing to release a new LP this year. So, check out the track and chill…..

Like many, I started my musical education while engaged in playing classical music in school. What began as a simple adolescent activity, quickly transformed into a deep love and appreciation for all forms of music. This love would continue to grow and manifested itself into the form of becoming a Co-Founder of EARMILK. This online music publication has become my outlet to spread all genres of music to those impressionable people, much like me. And, much like you, i'm often literally waiting for the drop....
