El Gun Legro – Superhero

I was introduced to El Gun Legro's tunes through my homey Warren at the Speakeasy Radio show a few months back. Warren played a track by El Gun that was themed around the concept of "even though you have acne, have bad breath, have no money etc., life is still good. Put your chin up champ". It was a well executed, partial comedic, all reality check approach to life's ills. It inspired me to embrace my dead snaggletooth.

El Gun's visual application to his music may work for some, may disturb others, but should really be enjoyed by all. When it comes down to it, El Gun spits darts. He's an MC in its truest form. Peep his latest video for his song "Superhero". It was filmed during San Diego's world reknown Comic Convention.

I write with my left, type with both hands and throw a baseball with my right hand. My favorite basketball player is Detlef Schrempf. I am a true believer that you cannot give yourself your own nickname. A nickname must be given to you. Also, there is a time frame when you can start remembering the times. If something just happened last week you can’t be like “Remember the time when we rode that stallion?”. THAT JUST HAPPENED LAST WEEK! You gotta let that bitch breathe before you can start remembering the times. 3 months is good to start remembering the time. Okay, I’m done here. Walaikum Assalam
