Chill…
Today's delivery is brought to you by Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions. This duo consists of Hope Sandoval, who has done work with Massive Attack, and Colm Ó Cíosóig who is from My Blood Valentine. They came together in 2001 to create a band that had a very unorthodox sound in comparison to a lot of music at the time. You can hear them explore strangely eerie sounds and never really following any set formula. Their second and most recent album, Through the Devil Softly, came out in 2009. Just from the title you can assume that the album explores very dark territory and you would be right, for the most part. It's not all dark but there's definitely something lurking just beneath the surface of most of the tracks. This is especially true in the track I'm bringing to you today which is called "For The Rest Of Your Life". There's probably no other track, on the album, as dark as this one yet it remains mesmerizingly chilled out….to the bone. Check out the track and chill…..
