Night Rumours – Week 5

Night Rumours – It's what keeps you up at night. From the basement to the bright lights – you're here today because you love dance music and want a little more wamp. Hitting Electro, EDM, Techno and back — every week, Amperror (aka electblake) will bring you the next wave of floor burners. It's not a sundae, it's a killing on the dancefloor.

This week I paid tribute to one of my all time favourite dance acts, The Chemical Brothers. Lately in this transitional time in dance music (b/c dance is so stagnant heh) I've found myself going to past loves – and listening to the mood & styles. The Chemical Brothers are on of those acts that influenced me a massive amount – they were my favourite djs for a long time (and when pressured I still say they are)

I've brought back a lot of classic from The Chemical Brothers in my tribute but I also found time for The Dove (yes!), new Alex Metric, some delicious We Are Crisis Children, and one of the most stand-out remixes I've ever heard Russ Chimes do (seriously)

Enjoy!

p.s. who wants a double header this week?
