It seems like there are a lot of exciting releases for the month of September. Portamento is definitely high up on my album list but instead of waiting until the 13th, Soundvenue generously provided the entire collection so we can stream it right as you're reading this!
The Drums are a band that healthily feeds our pop music cravings. Their music brings forth a simple yet flavorful electro-pop base with sentimental choruses that aren't overwhelmingly cheesy. After a successful year of their last album, The Drums continue to nourish us with Portamento. Each track from this album makes me yearn for a midnight jog on the beach, like their older hit "Let's Go Surfing".
