Awolnation did the proverbial fck you to genre definitions and decided to take pieces of what is already good and proper, then amalgamate them all into one beautiful mind bending band that are no doubt one of the best live acts I've seen in a minute.
Generous and warm as they are they decided to give away the live version of "Sail" for free plus the 12 minute epic amble called "Knights of Shame" which is the last track on the album.
The bass on Sail is not quite as clean and the track takes a slightly rockier direction, with the guitar takin a more prominent stage. All bloody good though as this is still a tune and a bit. Knights of shame is a pretty cunning piece of music that runs through each of of the albums musical influences and also shows of nifty production skills.
