This is your Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve. We will try to bring you one "chill" track every day. This is for when you get home and you are trying to unwind. You reach for that glass of wine or that unlit Black & Mild or maybe you reach for something more herbal. This track is for those times. We are just your milkmen and I'm here to make a delivery. Chill…
Today's delivery is brought to you by Groundation and also featuring Don Carlos. Lets face it folks; its pretty hot in most places right now. So, what better way to relax then to put on some reggae, kick back, and vibe out. Today's delivery is brought to you by one of my favorite reggae acts, Groundation. I love their music because, not only is their foundation in old school roots reggae but they like to mix in other genres like ska and jazz. Now, they've recently released their latest album, Gathering of the Elders, which ups their rank even further. This album is presented in a way that hasn't been done before. They've brought material together from some of the reggae originators and innovators as well as Rastafarian "Elders". Each track starts off with unreleased interview material that deals with their individual and collective struggles as a people. But enough talk. The track I'm bringing to you today is called "Wish Them Well" which in introduced by Don Carlos and of course will have you bobbing your head as soon as the music starts. Check out the track and chill….
